Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

This policy explains what information DailyForge (“we”, “us”) collects when you use dailyforgegame.com (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have. Contact us at admin@dailyforgegame.com.

Information we collect

  • Device key. When you first play, your browser receives a random key stored in its local storage. It identifies your guest player; we store only a one-way hash of it.
  • Gameplay data. Your forges, the shaping strikes you make, hammer results, scores, weapon names and timestamps.
  • Nickname. The name you choose to sign your weapons. It is shown publicly.
  • Account information (optional). If you sign in, your email address and an account identifier from our authentication provider; with Google sign-in, Google shares your name and email with us.
  • Payment information. If you subscribe to DailyForge+, payments are processed by Stripe. We receive a customer identifier and your subscription status; we never see or store your full card details.
  • Technical data. A hashed form of your IP address (to limit abuse), error reports from the game (error message, page and browser type), and aggregate page analytics.

Cookies and advertising

We show ads through Google AdSense to players who don't subscribe to DailyForge+. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure them. You can turn off personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services or opt out of many third-party vendors at aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

Our own page analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) do not use cookies.

How we use information

  • To run the game: forges, attempts, leaderboards, the Hall of Forges and shareable result pages.
  • To keep the game fair: detecting automated or tampered play and limiting abuse.
  • To provide accounts across devices and DailyForge+ subscriptions.
  • To fix bugs, understand how the game is used and improve it.
  • To communicate with you about your account or subscription.

What is public

Your nickname, weapons, scores and forge dates appear on leaderboards and on public result pages that anyone with the link can view. Your email address is never shown.

Service providers

We rely on: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (sign-in emails), and Google (sign-in and advertising). They process data on our behalf or under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

We keep gameplay data and leaderboard history for as long as the Service runs, account data while your account exists, and billing records as required by law. Error reports are kept only as long as needed to fix problems.

Your choices and rights

You can play without an account. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing admin@dailyforgegame.com; depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA) you may have additional rights, including objecting to processing and lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority. Clearing your browser storage removes your device key, but a guest player's data can then no longer be linked to you.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and transfers

We use encryption in transit, access controls and hashed identifiers to protect your information. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Significant changes will be highlighted in the Service.
